Here's Jerry's story in his own words - " I fortunately came to My Massage Sanctuary on a $35 introductory offer! My first visit was with Barb and thoroughly enjoyed the massage. More importantly, I told Barb that I had been diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis (http://arthritis.webmd.com/understanding-plantar-fasciitis-basics). She recommended that I meet with Lorraine, the new Reflexologist on staff. I had been walking three miles a day for over twelve years and finally I had to cut back my walks and started riding a stationary bike. I also came into the clinic using a cane! After one visit with Lorraine, I no longer used the cane and after my second visit, I was able to begin walking again. I am also diabetic and my sugar numbers have improved tremendously. It is amazing that she can tell me when I've eaten too much beef or when I'm not drinking enough water just by working on my feet. I have improved so much that this weekend I'm back up to 2 1/2 miles a day walking. Exercise is so critical for a diabetic and I give her all the credit for getting me back on stride. She has given me exercises, recommended the correct foods, and she has also become a good friend. Diane suffers from Arthritis and Diabetes. Her knees and ankles are always swollen with numbness and/or pain. She started her massage therapy with us on August 5, 2008.
